Russell T Davies Leaves Dr Who

Russell T Davies is leaving Doctor Who as Executive Producer.

Mr Davies will remain in charge of four specials to be shown in 2009.

The fifth series will see Steve Moffat take over as executive producer and is scheduled to be broadcast on BBC One in spring 2010.

There is no mention of Russell T Davies role in Torchwood in the BBC news article released yesterday (read it here), but it is not believed that he will be leaving this series yet.
