Owen Harper - Rumour Mill
SPOILER - if you haven’t seen series 2 of Torchwood DO NOT Read
As series 2 of Torchwood ended we lost 2 characters. The most popular Owen Harper (Burn Gorman) has now perished at the nasty end of a nuclear reactor.
Looking round the web there are a number of rumours of what happens next for the character of Owen. The most popular are listed below
- He is saved by the Doctor and will appear in the Doctor Who specials in 2009.
- Is ‘Un dying’ nature somehow means that he survives the radiation
- The radiation reacts with his ‘undying’ state and means that he is magically back to normal.
- He absorbes the radiation and become’s Radioactive Man full of super hero powers and what not
- He haunts the hub as a ghost.
- HE IS DEAD AND DOES NOT COME BACK!!!
So what is the truth, time will tell. If I were a betting man (which I aren’t) and didn’t have insider information (which I haven’t) I would plump for number 6
He can’t be dead,i think it would have to be 2 or 6(AND IT IS NOT 6)!!!!
well we never really see him die so noone can say for definete his dead he just faded when the toxic radiation came through plus if you look at his face at the end hes got a smirk on his face saying its alright
im really hopeing owen comes back and becomes king of the weevils lol

As one of those crazy peeps over at burn-gorman.com, I feel the need to point out who’ve missed out the best theory! The one about the rift taking him is cropping up all the over the place, and it explains the look on his face better than anything else, right? Just a thought. I love playing Devil’s Advocate, and I’m probably the biggest conspiracy theorist out there. *wink*

Top idea - missed this one. It would make so much sense know we know that the rift does snatch people.

Further support to his revival comes from a number of people who see that he is on record as saying that he is filming for another TV series (or feature film - depends who you ask) around about the same time that Torchwood Series 3 is thought to be penciled in for filming
